The Gospel of the Holy Spirit in Today’s English attempts to follow the example set by the authors of the New Testament books who wrote in the common form of the Greek language used throughout the Roman Empire.
The translation for the readings in this podcast were originally prepared by the American Bible Society for people who speak the English language either as their mother tongue or as an acquired language. As much as possible, words and forms of English not in current use have been avoided.
